ABOUT PITBULL KNIGHTS KENNELS
We couldn't have said it better, so will leave the words of Oom Gawie here:
If ever someone wants to buy a pup - as passionate and also OK to say fanatic lover and ambassador of this breed) you first educate straight down the line. Rather never sell a pup if it comes to that – many will testify to this (this is the motto - you do not want or have to sell any pup just to get rid of the pup - the genetics of the APBT pup you a breeder offer should have to make a difference in the breeds gene pool for the generation to follow - the breeder should breed only to keep what was bred because the breeding expect awesomeness - that should be the main criteria - better than better). The buyer on the other hand must hear the straight talk about the APBT from you and don’t beat about the bush, no salesmen talk, no white washed bullshit, straight down the line- and the buyer should expect and come to know with no uncertain terms to home a APBT game bulldog with genetically and historical no uncertain characteristics, awesome traits, stable human workable temperament and a definite game disposition - this breed is not just a "pet"- this in no uncertain terms.
Socializing and training will never alter the APBT game disposition - never. Having a passion for this game dog breed put you and also the buyer into a bracket of responsibility and accountability and goes without saying with needed knowledge about this breed. The domesticated dog was never intended to be a pet - yep never.... And the APBT (in a ultra-class of its own) is a working game dog first and last.
A dog is not "almost human," and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such — John Holmes
The APBT is a breed of yesteryear in no uncertain terms (if bred like yesteryear) a fighting purposely bred and perpetuated working dog with purpose horned abilities. Breed standard, breed set conformation, APBT stable temperament and most of all gameness and awesome abilities is what you should have and offer to the few with matching minds. The real APBT will fight or compete with whatever you put up their face - fighting with their teeth if (God given) when they fight, and with man horned and bred principals and abilities and to conquer with gameness - not with a specific colour - and then will have a typical matching perfect conformation - a perfect balanced APBT breed conformation with no exaggerations. This dog is not everybody cup of tea - you as owner or new owner should have the heart (gameness), knowledge and mind-set to own such a dog or stay away from APBT.
